The Utility Analyst II is responsible for working with utility data on a large scale to evaluate cost, consumption and measure savings related to energy efficiency and procurement options. They are frequently interacting with clients, contractors, and engineers to fulfill the essential duties and responsibilities of the positions. They are maintaining, analyzing and reporting on utility data.

• Assist in the maintenance of client's facility and utility data in a database.
• Assist in the review of utility invoices for errors and in disputing errors with the utility on behalf of the Client.
• Assist in the maintenance of EPA Energy Star Client accounts.
• Conduct energy benchmarking work for portfolio of buildings.
• Perform the assigned duties with supervision, while working in a team problem-solving environment.

• Other duties as assigned/required.

Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications

• Associate's degree or working towards a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, Business, Economics, or a related field or related work experience.
• 2-4 years of experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in other Microsoft applications.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Preferred Education, Experience, and Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Math, Physics, or a related field.
• Experience with commercial utility bills and rate structures.
• Experience with database queries.
• Experience with VBA.
• Experience with energy efficiency programs.

Travel Requirements

• 0-10% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location.

Physical/Work Environment Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Climbing stairs.
• Remaining in a stationary position, often kneeling, standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
• Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
• Quiet environment.
• Light work that includes adjusting and/or moving objects up to 20 pounds.
