Overview

The Employee Training Specialist supports the creation and delivery of engaging and effective training experiences for ENFRA’s workforce. In partnership with the Manager, Learning and Training Development, this role helps bring training programs to life through live facilitation, content development support, and coordination of in-person and virtual sessions. This is a hands-on role focused on helping employees build the knowledge and skills they need to be successful in their current roles and grow for the future.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate interactive training sessions across a range of topics, including onboarding, safety, compliance, and job-specific skills.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and learning leaders to co-develop or adapt training content.
  • Support preparation of training materials, participant communications, and session logistics.
  • Help populate and update content within the LMS as needed, ensuring accessibility and accuracy.
  • Monitor participant engagement and feedback to recommend content or delivery improvements.
  • Serve as a learning ambassador, reinforcing ENFRA’s commitment to employee growth and development.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communication or related field required or relevant years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Experience: 3+ years of progressive experience facilitating and coordinating employee training in business and operational settings.
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills; able to engage a variety of learner types.
  • Experience using virtual training tools (Zoom, MS Teams) and LMS platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to creating a positive, inclusive learning experience for all employees.

 

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Experience supporting training for field-based or operational teams
  • Familiarity with UKG and LinkedIn Learning
  • Professional certification in training, facilitation or learning
  • Experience with Canva and PowerPoint for creating training materials
  • Experience in energy, utilities, construction or infrastructure industries

 

Travel Requirements

  • Approximately 25%; actual travel may vary based on business needs.

 

Physical/Work Environment Requirements

  • Hybrid — Metairie, LA office preferred. Open to candidates based in the Baton Rouge office with the ability to work from the Metairie office at least two days per week.

Pay Range

USD $58,080.00 - USD $77,570.00 /Yr.
