Overview

The Lead Compensation Analyst serves as a subject matter expert on compensation strategy and programs, leading complex analyses and advising HR leadership and business stakeholders on pay decisions. This role is responsible for the design, administration, and continuous improvement of ENFRA’s compensation programs, including job architecture, market pricing, and annual merit and incentive processes. The position combines analytical rigor with practical business partnership to ensure compensation practices are competitive, equitable, compliant, and aligned with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the VP, Total Rewards to support the development and execution of ENFRA’s compensation strategy aligned to business needs and market competitiveness.
• Lead administration of base pay, merit, and incentive compensation programs, including planning and execution of annual compensation cycles.
• Provide guidance and recommendations on compensation decisions including new hire offers, promotions, and off-cycle or market adjustments.
• Conduct job evaluations, maintain job descriptions, perform FLSA classification reviews, and manage job architecture including salary grades and pay ranges.
• Participate in market compensation surveys and perform benchmarking and market analysis to ensure competitive and equitable pay positioning.
• Build financial models and deliver analytics, dashboards, and insights that inform compensation decisions and leadership recommendations.
• Present compensation analyses with clear rational and data support to HR and business leadership.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation regulations and maintain compensation data integrity in partnership with HRIS.
• Partner with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition to support hiring strategies, workforce planning, and pay decisions.
• Mentor junior analysts and support compensation projects such as pay equity reviews, market studies, and program enhancements.

Qualifications

Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications


• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance or related curriculum.
• Six or more years of experience in Compensation.
• Experience in UKG Pro or equivalent HCM.
• Experience in PayScale or equivalent compensation benchmarking system.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary.

 

Preferred Education, Experience, and Qualifications


• CCP, SHRM-CP or PHR preferred.
• People analytics and/or financial analysis experience preferred.
• Industry knowledge preferred.
• Experience creating and presenting compensation research and/or projects to executive leadership.

 

Travel Requirements


• 5-10 % of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location.

 

Physical/Work Environment Requirements


• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Climbing stairs.
• Remaining in a stationary position, often kneeling, standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
• Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
• Quiet environment.
• Light work that includes adjusting and/or moving objects up to 20 pounds.

Pay Range

USD $101,610.00 - USD $135,645.00 /Yr.
