Responsibilities

• Leads projects end-to-end contracting and subcontracting requirements.Works closely with the commercial and legal teams to draft, review, redline, and finalize contracts, amendments, and other commercial agreements.
• Serves as a key advisor to project leaders on contractual rights, obligations, and commercial risk
• Planning, engaging with business owners, determining contract strategy, risk mitigation and supplier management.
• Proven experience in developing Project Procurement Plans aligned with specific project requirements.
• Supplier performance evaluation for contracts and subcontracts (KPIs)
• Leads contractual negotiations throughout the RFI and RFP processes for projects and other scenarios, as needed.
• Perform Supplier Qualification with financial considerations, safety, references, IT risks, technical capabilities, any conflicts, etc.
• Leads claims and dispute resolution by leveraging contract language, schedules, and project data.
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams to ensure contracts align with operational and strategic goals.

Qualifications

Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business administration, or a related discipline. Alternatively, candidates with 7 or more years of experience in contracts will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 7+ years related to contracting / procurement / supply chain experience
• 7+ years’ experience related to project procurement
• Experience with complex projects or structuring complex deals especially in the construction industries
• Proficiency in Supply Chain Tools
• Proven experience in project contracting and subcontracting negotiations
• Clear understanding of contracting and procurement processes
• Ability to prioritize and work under tight timelines to meet deadlines and to shift work activities to meet immediate response needs.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Proactive and work well independently.
• Ability to manage time sensitive matters, multitask and manage competing priorities.
• Possess excellent writing/grammar/spelling skills.
• Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint, as well as an aptitude for learning new database software.
• Coordinate with project controls, project management, engineering, and legal to ensure contractual integrity and alignment with project objectives.

 

Travel Requirements

• Ability to travel up to 25%

Pay Range

USD $101,610.00 - USD $135,645.00 /Yr.
