The Delivery Driver is responsible for operating a light delivery / panel truck (from pick-up to 2 ton flatbed truck) or similar vehicle to pick up and deliver parts, materials, and finished products.

• Loads truck with items scheduled for deliveries.
• Determines most efficient order of delivery and prepares schedule showing order to be followed. Consults with supervisor about any unusual problems.
• Delivers items and gets receiving slips signed.
• Uses cell phone to report on progress of deliveries.
• Picks up returns and items for use by the company. Verifies items received against packing slips and signs receipt.
• Maintains simple records of deliveries and truck mileage.
• Follows maintenance schedule for having truck serviced. Takes other vehicles for service when instructed to do so. Reports any mechanical problems to supervisor.
• Assists in general warehouse duties upon completing delivery route.
• On occasions will be required to drive 18 wheeler with a float or trailer.

Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications

• Valid driver's license (CDL) and clean driving record.
• Ability to read directions and use a street map to plot delivery route.
• Ability to maintain simple logs and records.
• Dependable worker able to carry out a series of work instructions without constant supervision.
• Must be physically able to lift up to fifty pounds regularly in order to load and deliver packages.
• Must practice safe driving habits. Abide by all highway rules and regulations.
• High school diploma or holder of GED or equivalent.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast paced environment.
• Well versed in the industry and the Company's competitors.
• Excellent multitasking skills, with the ability to perform duties outside of scope of work when necessary.

• 0-5% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location.

Physical/Work Environment Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Climbing stairs.
• Remaining in a stationary position, often kneeling, standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
• Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
• Quiet environment.
• Light work that includes adjusting and/or moving objects up to 20 pounds.

USD $17.43 - USD $28.00 /Hr.
