Overview

*** This position can be located at any of ENFRA's office locations.

 

The Director of Development Solutions will work directly with the SVP of Development Solutions and lead efforts in investigating, engineering, and developing energy infrastructure programs, with a primary focus on investment grade health systems.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains relationships with clients, agents, and collaborators.
• Provide deep, multi-disciplinary expertise in the design-build process from survey of existing systems, conceptual design scope development, energy modeling, pricing, negotiation, to commercial operation.
• Lead in-house and third-party expertise in engineering, energy modeling, operations and maintenance, and construction to inform the development of highest-value technical solution for each customer.
• Coordinate with in-house and third-party experts in legal, tax, accounting, project finance, credit, modeling, energy engineering, and construction to inform the structuring and negotiating of concession programs.
• Balance the customer’s key objectives and the Company strengths and resources to align incentives and form a workable, long-term solution, which is characteristic of a successful partnership.
• Understand and adhere to the appropriate fact pattern early in the development process to meet each transaction’s optimal accounting and tax treatment and advocate for that treatment with the Company.
• Contributes to the development of proposals, qualifications packages, presentations and marketing collateral material, including technical writing.
• Provide multidisciplinary support in the concession structuring process, from origination through development and negotiation to commercial operation.
• Ensures documentation, presentation, and communication meet quality and consistency standards.
• Actively participates in professional organizations, seminars and conferences for networking opportunities and professional development

Qualifications

Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications


• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, STEM or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in engineering design, energy, utilities, estimation, or other technical
• professional services serving related industries.
• 3+ years’ experience leading technical or sales teams with continued growth and exceeding goals
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and group presentation skills, including a demonstrated ability to tailor the presentation of technical or complex concepts to an audience.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate while driving and building consensus with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
• Detail oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects and across corporate functional teams in a fast paced environment.
• Advanced experience in Excel-based modeling.
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse work group and across corporate functional teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical content into business language.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities, especially when coordinating technical inputs across teams.
• Passion for excellence, persistence and client satisfaction.
• Excellent multitasking skills, with the ability to perform duties outside of scope of work when necessary.

 


Preferred Education, Experience, and Qualifications


• Graduate degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, or related field.
• Experience in healthcare engineering, construction, operations, finance or real estate industry.
• Demonstrated experience in leadership and volunteerism in professional organizations for engineering, energy, and/or facility operations.

 

 

Travel Requirements


• 25-40% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location.
