Overview

The Lighting Analyst I will prepare pricing and energy documentation on assigned projects under the supervision of a Lighting Analyst, Senior.

Responsibilities

  • Actively attend in-house and external training sessions to obtain knowledge in necessary technical areas related to lighting.
  • Participate in industry organizations and attends events, meetings, and activities.
  • Hold ethics in lighting design to the highest standard.
  • Uphold Company owner advocacy philosophy and organizational core values.
  • Coordinate retrofit replacements that will work properly with existing lighting fixtures and controls.
  • Prepare detailed excel documentation in order to clearly communicate a breakdown of existing and new lighting power densities, annual energy savings, annual maintenance savings, project costs, and simple payback.
  • Create accurate project pricing to be used in the overall project financial model.
  • Prepare lighting pricing narratives to outline the scope of work.
  • Prepare full lighting narratives to detail the scope of work in each building.
  • Prepare definitive transaction documents related to the lighting scope.
  • Review product submittals, pricing, or any other documentation submitted by partners on projects.

Qualifications

Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications

  • Bachelors' degree in engineering or related field with 1 years' experience or Associates degree in engineering or related field with 3 years' experience required.
  • Required experience in Excel and Word.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in written format
  • Ability to communicate effectively with facility managers and engineers.
  • Ability to work independently to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
  • Ability to use technology and apps reviewing collected survey data.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Well versed in the industry and the Company's competitors.
  • Excellent multitasking skills, with the ability to perform duties outside of scope of work when necessary.

Preferred Education, Experience, and Qualifications

  • Lighting Certification (LC) from NCQLP.
  • LEED Certification.
  • Certified Lighting Efficiency Professional (CLEP).
  • Certified Lighting Management Consultant (CLMC).

Travel Requirements

  • 10% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location.

Physical/Work Environment Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Climbing stairs.
  • Remaining in a stationary position, often kneeling, standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
  • Quiet environment.
  • Light work that includes adjusting and/or moving objects up to 20 pounds.

Pay Range

USD $19.18 - USD $25.64 /Hr.
