Purpose and Essential Duties:
The Team Manager provides leadership for multidisciplinary teams overseeing Technical Services (TS), retro-commissioning (RCx), and new building commissioning (Cx) scopes within Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS) programs. This role is accountable for driving technical excellence, operational performance, and client satisfaction across the full project lifecycle—from early planning and design review through implementation, performance verification, and ongoing optimization.
Projects are typically delivered across complex, multi-building and multi-campus portfolios within higher education and healthcare environments. Commissioning scopes frequently support complex mechanical and controls upgrades, while RCx efforts involve substantial mechanical infrastructure and advanced, integrated control strategies requiring a high level of technical and operational coordination.
The Team Manager is responsible for overall project execution, ensuring delivery aligns with budget, schedule, and quality objectives while maintaining a strong, solutions-driven approach to achieving performance outcomes. This role collaborates closely with executive leadership, engineering teams, construction management, and trade partners to successfully deliver both retro-commissioning and new construction commissioning efforts.
In addition, the Team Manager is responsible for building, developing, and leading high-performing teams, establishing best practices, and driving consistency and scalability across project delivery.
